My husband and I used to visit the house next-door to this place. It was owned by Kevin Cannon, a musician from Taos and was once owned by DH Lawrence. We could see the Mabel dodge LuHan house next-door. This was a long time after Dennis Hopper lived there. Taos is my favorite town in New Mexico. You can see the Taos , Pueblo because it’s right next-door. And if you look up into the mountains during the winter, snow forms a face like Albert Einstein. It is worth a visit if you r ever in Taos.

Pulling stupid humans around on black top makes it even worse the black top makes a humid 95 degree day feel like 115 to these horses with little breaks, not enough water and no shade. There are 1000 of videos of these horses with hooves and joint injuries from the pounding on blacktop which they weren’t built to be running on. Many videos of horses dying from dehydration. Extreme suffering just so you can take your kid on a stupid ride.

i was wondering why the good andouille is always thick like a baseball bat. That's the cow casing. Someone gave me one a few weeks ago. After sitting in the fridge for a week, I cut the dry edges off to eat as jerky, and sliced the rest of it for red beans. Been looking for another big barrel andouille since then. Probably gotta drive to laplace. 😒
